Car seat covers · OEM & wholesale
Car seat covers universal and custom-fit seat covers made for your brand
Car seat covers are the volume product of the car accessories aisle: they protect original upholstery, refresh an older interior and are one of the easiest accessories for a retailer or online store to sell in sets. GearForge supplies car seat covers — full sets, front pairs, rear bench covers, waterproof covers and pet / work covers — to auto parts distributors, auto accessory retailers, dealerships and e-commerce sellers, in your material, colors, logo and packaging. Fit, materials and construction are specified per SKU; this page publishes no test data or certifications. For 12 V heated versions see heated seat covers, or read the sourcing guide.

Seat cover types we supply
- Full sets — front pair, rear bench (often with split-fold openings), headrest covers; the standard retail and marketplace SKU.
- Front seat pairs — the entry SKU for auto parts stores, rideshare drivers and fleet buyers.
- Rear bench covers and back-seat protectors — including pet hammocks and kick mats for family and pet channels.
- Waterproof and work seat covers — neoprene or coated canvas for pickups, outdoor users and work vehicles; any waterproof wording needs test documentation for that fabric and SKU.
- Cushions and half covers — seat cushions, backrest-only covers and slip-on styles for quick installation.
- Bucket-seat, bench and truck formats — patterns for SUVs, pickups and vans quoted from your fitment list.
Materials and construction
Most programs choose between PU (faux) leather — easy to wipe, premium look, often with perforation or diamond quilting; polyester and jacquard fabrics — breathable, lower cost, wide color range; neoprene — snug fit, splash resistance, popular for outdoor and sport vehicles; and mesh / 3D air fabrics for warm climates. Foam backing, non-slip backing, elastic edges, hooks, straps and zippered sections are specified per SKU. Compare materials in the sourcing guide.
Universal fit vs. vehicle-specific fit
Universal covers fit a wide range of seats with elastic, straps and stretch panels; they keep SKU counts low and suit marketplaces and auto parts stores. Vehicle-specific (custom-fit) covers follow one seat pattern — headrest positions, armrests, seat-belt and latch openings, split rear benches — and need your fitment list (make, model, years, trim, seat configuration) and, ideally, a reference seat or pattern. Fit is confirmed on the sample before mass production; we do not publish a vehicle compatibility list on this site.
Side airbags — a construction option, not a claim
Seats with side airbags need covers with an airbag-compatible seam or opening on the airbag side. We make that construction when you specify it, but we do not claim airbag compatibility here: suitability must be verified by testing for the pattern and vehicle range, and any “airbag compatible” wording on your packaging needs that documentation. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
12 V heated versions
Need a winter SKU? Our heated seat cover page covers 12 V plug-in heated cushions and covers — heating pad layout, controller levels and wiring — with documentation handled per SKU.

Frequently asked questions
Universal or custom-fit seat covers — which should we stock?
Universal covers keep SKU counts low and suit marketplaces and auto parts stores. Custom-fit covers look better and sell at higher prices but need a fitment list and more SKUs. Many programs start universal and add custom-fit patterns for best-selling vehicles.
Which material sells best?
PU leather is the usual premium choice and is easy to clean; polyester and jacquard fabrics cover lower price points; neoprene suits outdoor and sport users. Choose by channel and price point; samples help you compare.
Can you match our vehicle fitment list?
Yes — send make, model, year range, trim and seat configuration. Patterns are developed per vehicle range and fit is confirmed on the sample before production.
Are your seat covers airbag compatible?
Front seats with side airbags need seat covers with an airbag-compatible seam (a tear seam or open section on the airbag side). We make that construction on request, but we do not claim airbag compatibility on this site: whether a cover is suitable for a given seat must be verified by testing for that pattern and vehicle range, and any “airbag compatible” wording on your packaging needs that documentation. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the product (an existing universal pattern vs. a vehicle-specific or new pattern), material and color, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, sampling and season — sun shades sell ahead of summer and snow covers ahead of winter, so seasonal programs need to be briefed early. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our sourcing guide.
Are your products certified or tested?
We do not display certification marks, listings or test data on this site. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for your market, as your brand requires: tell us the destination market, sales channel and the standard or document your retailer, marketplace or distributor asks for, and the quotation confirms which documentation applies to each SKU and how it is obtained (existing reports for a product, or testing arranged with a third-party laboratory). See the compliance process in our sourcing guide or ask on the inquiry form.
