Heated car seat covers 12 V plug-in heated covers and cushions for your brand

A heated car seat cover adds seat heating to a vehicle that does not have it: the cover straps over the seat, plugs into the 12 V accessory socket and warms the cushion and backrest. GearForge supplies heated car seat covers and heated cushions — single-seat and front-pair formats, fabric or PU leather tops — to auto parts distributors, auto accessory retailers and e-commerce sellers, with your fabric, colors, controller design, logo and packaging. Heating layout, controller and wiring are specified per SKU. No electrical certification is claimed on this page: test reports and documentation are available on request and are the brand owner’s responsibility to confirm for the target market. For non-heated covers see seat covers.

Heated seat cover formats

  • Heated seat cushions — cushion plus backrest pad with straps; universal fit, the best-selling winter SKU for auto parts stores and marketplaces.
  • Full heated covers — a fitted cover with heating pads sewn in; looks closer to an original seat.
  • Front pairs — two covers with a Y-split or two plugs, packed as one retail SKU.
  • Heated + cooling or massage combos — quoted on request; fan and motor versions add their own electrical and documentation scope.

Heating pad, controller and wiring

Heating pads are usually carbon fiber or alloy-wire elements placed in the cushion and backrest. The controller is an inline remote or a built-in switch with several heat levels; an auto-off timer and over-heat protection circuit are common specification requests. Power comes from the vehicle’s 12 V accessory socket (24 V for trucks on request); cable length, plug style, fuse and strain relief are specified per SKU. Surface temperature at each level and current draw are measured on the actual pre-production sample and written into your spec — no temperature, wattage or warm-up figures are published here.

Electrical documentation — available on request, not claimed here

We do not claim that any heated seat cover shown here is certified, listed, approved or tested to a standard — no UL, ETL, CE, FCC, RoHS or E-Mark claim is made. Test reports and certification documentation are available on request and are confirmed per SKU and per order: you tell us the destination market and channel, and the supplier and an accredited laboratory confirm which electrical-safety, EMC, automotive and chemical documents apply before production, following the general compliance process. Warnings (for example for children, people who cannot feel heat properly, and unattended use), labels and packaging claims are approved by your team. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

Top fabrics and fit

Top materials include short-plush and velour (warm touch), polyester fabric and PU leather; backs are non-slip. Straps, hooks and elastic hold the cover on most bucket seats; side-airbag seats need an airbag-compatible design verified for that pattern (see the airbag note). Care instructions depend on the element and wiring and are confirmed on the sample.

Who buys heated seat covers

Auto parts distributors and accessory retailers stocking winter ranges, dealerships adding an accessory, truck-stop and fleet suppliers, and e-commerce sellers building a winter private label line. Pair with windshield snow covers for a winter bundle.

Frequently asked questions

Do heated seat covers drain the car battery?

They draw power from the 12 V socket, so they should be used with the engine running; many buyers specify an auto-off timer. Current draw is measured on the sample per SKU and stated in your manual — we publish no wattage figure here.

How hot does a heated seat cover get?

Surface temperature per level depends on the element, controller and top fabric, so it is measured on the pre-production sample and stated per SKU. No temperature claims are made on this site.

Can you make a 24 V version for trucks?

Yes, 24 V plugs and controllers are quoted on request for truck and fleet channels.

Do your heated car seat covers carry UL, ETL, CE, FCC or E-Mark approval?

No certification, listing or approval mark is claimed on this site. Heated seat covers combine a heating element, a controller, wiring and a 12 V plug, so which electrical-safety, EMC, automotive (for example E-Mark in some markets) and chemical documents apply is decided by the destination market and sales channel. Test reports and certification documentation are available on request and are confirmed per SKU and per order with the supplier and an accredited laboratory before production; marks may only be printed once the documentation for that exact SKU is in place. Labeling and product claims are the brand owner’s responsibility. See the compliance process.

Are your seat covers airbag compatible?

Front seats with side airbags need seat covers with an airbag-compatible seam (a tear seam or open section on the airbag side). We make that construction on request, but we do not claim airbag compatibility on this site: whether a cover is suitable for a given seat must be verified by testing for that pattern and vehicle range, and any “airbag compatible” wording on your packaging needs that documentation. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the product (an existing universal pattern vs. a vehicle-specific or new pattern), material and color, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, sampling and season — sun shades sell ahead of summer and snow covers ahead of winter, so seasonal programs need to be briefed early. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our sourcing guide.
