Windshield snow covers · OEM & wholesale
Windshield snow covers snow and frost covers for parked cars, made for your brand
A windshield snow cover goes on the outside of the windshield of a parked car and comes off in the morning with the snow and frost on it — no scraping. GearForge supplies windshield snow covers with door-flap, magnet or strap fixing, optional side-mirror covers and wiper protection, to auto parts distributors, accessory retailers, dealerships and e-commerce sellers, in your material, sizes, logo and packaging. Materials and sizes are specified per SKU; no waterproof or temperature ratings are published here. This is the winter, exterior product — the summer, interior windshield product is the car sun shade.
- Door-flap, magnet, elastic-strap and hook fixing
- Optional side-mirror covers and wiper-blade coverage
- Coated Oxford fabric, PEVA and multi-layer constructions
- Sizes by vehicle class; reflective strips and logo print
Snow cover styles
- Door-flap snow covers — side flaps are closed in the front doors so the cover cannot be blown off or removed easily; the most common style.
- Magnetic snow covers — sewn-in magnets hold the edges to the body; magnets are covered with fabric to protect paint, and placement is confirmed on the sample.
- Strap and hook covers — elastic straps to the wheels or hooks under the hood edge for vehicles where flaps do not suit.
- Covers with mirror covers — attached or separate side-mirror sleeves.
- All-season / reversible covers — a reflective side for summer and a dark side for winter; sold as an exterior cover, separate from interior sun shades.
Materials and construction
Typical outer materials are PU- or silver-coated Oxford polyester and PEVA, often over a cotton or non-woven middle layer and a soft lining that faces the glass. Edges, flaps and magnets are bound to avoid scratching; reflective strips and a storage pouch are common options. Water resistance and cold-weather behavior depend on the exact fabric and coating — any waterproof or temperature claim needs test documentation for that SKU.
Sizes
Universal covers are offered in a range by vehicle class (car / sedan, SUV, pickup / van); the retail pack carries a sizing chart you approve. Vehicle-specific sizes are quoted from your fitment list and confirmed on the sample.

Frequently asked questions
Do magnetic snow covers scratch paint?
Magnets are sewn into fabric pockets so they do not touch the paint directly; placement and covering are checked on the sample. End-user instructions should say to clean the surface before fitting.
What is the difference between a windshield snow cover and a sun shade?
A snow cover is an exterior winter cover that keeps snow and frost off the glass; a sun shade is an interior summer product that sits behind the windshield. They are separate SKUs with different materials.
Can you add our logo and a reflective strip?
Yes — logo print or labels, reflective strips and a printed pouch are common options.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the product (an existing universal pattern vs. a vehicle-specific or new pattern), material and color, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, sampling and season — sun shades sell ahead of summer and snow covers ahead of winter, so seasonal programs need to be briefed early. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our sourcing guide.
Are your products certified or tested?
We do not display certification marks, listings or test data on this site. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for your market, as your brand requires: tell us the destination market, sales channel and the standard or document your retailer, marketplace or distributor asks for, and the quotation confirms which documentation applies to each SKU and how it is obtained (existing reports for a product, or testing arranged with a third-party laboratory). See the compliance process in our sourcing guide or ask on the inquiry form.
